Bear with me for just a bit for an analogy...

In many human conversations, both sides already know a good bit about the topic, and in the discussions, we exchange new details with each other to achieve the mutual understanding at the end, without having to rehash all the background that would just slow things down with no benefit.

"Yeah, yeah, I know that..."

Sometimes, one party may THINK they know some aspect of the topic, and they ignore or urge you to skip past those details in the discussion... BUT you are trying to introduce a different perspective on that particular issue.

Frustration and miscommunication ensues.

This happens with computers and the Internet as well.

Browsers on computers revisiting a website sometimes "THINK" they can just use the text, layout, and pictures that were on that website on a recent previous visit...

Sometimes web forms get pre-filled with details from a previous visit.

Perhaps Facebook displaying a link preview on a post often "THINKS" it can use the preview it fetched when the same link was posted previously...

Every browser and operating system will differ a bit, but clearing the cache/history on the one you use can help, when the problem is isolated to a single computer or a browser on that computer. (Rebooting often clears many problems.) Clearing Facebook's cache can help when the problem is there.

Easy workarounds are to try an incognito or private browser or a different computer. Connecting through a different Internet connection sometimes helps (i.e., connect through your phone's hotspot instead of your home router), or, in some cases, look at the website via a utility website such as www.browserling.com.
